We are happy to share some important news with you: Travel World Escape has had its Travelife Certified status renewed, the highest award in sustainability for tour operators and travel agents.
What is Travelife
Travelife is the world’s leading certification program for sustainability in tourism, recognized by more than 35 international trade associations. The program has three stages – Engaged, Partner and Certified – and Travel World Escape has achieved and confirmed the final stage: Travelife Certified.
To obtain this certification, companies must meet more than 200 criteria related to:
- Internal management and reduction of environmental impacts,
- Supplier selection and support for local communities,
- Responsible product development,
- Transparent and fair communication with customers,
- Protection of human rights and working conditions.
Why it is important
The recognition confirms our ongoing commitment to responsible tourism that respects the environment and local communities. It is not just a certification, but a journey that involves our team, our partners, and of course our travelers every day.
