Spend time on Curieuse Island, one of the less-traveled gems of tourism in the Seychelles. This nature reserve is a haven for giant Aldabra tortoises, which live here freely, without enclosures as elsewhere, strolling along the beach and in the surrounding forests, which are protected and monitored by local associations. A leisurely walk will take you through the intricate mangrove forests, a unique and vital ecosystem perfect for immersing yourself in the island's pristine wilderness.
